Why should you choose interlock paving?

Interlock paving is your most economical, and beautiful, paving solution! The secret is that it is a permanent, naturally non-slip product that you only have to buy once:  You can elect to have the pavers reinstalled, but you only need pay for labor and consumables, not additional excavation and dumping fees.  You actually own your pavers – and they are guaranteed by the manufacturer - for life!  So while the initial outlay is more than asphalt, the mid-to-long term cost is actually less expensive.

Pavers are the ideal product for freeze/thaw environments. Proper installation of the product results in a pavement that is rigid yet flexible. The joints between pavers allow the walkway, driveway, patio, etc. to move without cracking. In addition, they can be unzipped to allow for repairs or access to utilities. Unlike asphalt, pavers are virtually maintenance-free and do not need to be regularly sealed or replaced. By definition, concrete pavers have a minimum compressive strength of 8,000 psi (about 3 times stronger than regular poured concrete) and a maximum water absorption rate of 5%.   Also, unlike regular or stamped concrete (Bomanite), pavers are colored throughout (not just on the surface), and are not susceptible to spalling or cracking

Interlock offers may advantages over other paving materials, as the charts below illustrate.

Your home will look more striking, as interlock pavers come in a wide variety of colors, textures, and shapes to compliment any exterior. You’ll experience greater pride of home ownership and enjoy a virtually maintenance-free surface, as Advantage Interlock uses stabilizing sand that practically eliminates the occurrence of weeds between the pavers.  Stabilizing sand will not wash out between pavers and into your pool, either.  Also, quality interlock paving will increase the resale value and desirability of your home…something that asphalt just can’t do!
